Created beside a river in a steep-sided valley accessible only by an old railway line, this piece draws inspiration from the gentle rapids contrasting with the industrial-age bridges above. Positioned just meters from the water, I used the large riverbank boulders to texture and shape the brass into a flowing, wave-like form. A silver frame, inspired by the bridge architecture, surrounds the piece, with cubic zirconia set to symbolize the river’s reflections.
